Olympic Torch Relay, Catford
8.21 this morning saw me and the kids in Catford waiting to see the Olympic Torch coming past.
Very glad we went, we all enjoyed it, there was a fairly decent crowd for 8 O'clock on a Monday morning and I feel I have done something to join in with the London Olympics now!

We had a good time - ours was at tea-time (over a month ago now) and we sat on the mound of Cliffords Tower in the sunshine waiting for it to make its way down through town. People didn't move to the roadside until about 5 mins before it came through, so there wasn't too much "boring waiting" for the kids.
@Jennifer - it was over in a flash, wasn't it?! I was so busy trying to get a photo I didn't really see her running past that well.
@Rowan - we only arrived 10 mins before it came past. The centre of Catford wouldn't be quite the same as Cliffords Tower for hanging about, even with the lovely sunshine!
