Rare Night Out. New Dress Required.
I went out for a few hours with Adrian on Saturday night. It was a cocktail party, and as I haven't been out for years, I had nothing to wear. So Noah and I went shopping and I bought a gorgeous dress from French Connection, which I adore.
When I went downstairs after getting ready, Freyja looked at me and exclaimed 'Oh Mummy you look so pretty....can I try on your shoes....I love your necklace..'
Theo, however, looked me up and down for a few moments then wailed 'I don't want you to go out!!!'
I did go out, I had a lovely time. And I now wish I had another occasion to wear my fab new dress.

Thank you Jo. Though I am now wondering if I will ever have an opportunity to wear it again and maybe I should have just dragged something out of the back of the wardrobe...Sx
