More Cakes

Inspired by the success of my chocolate & guinness cake, I have made some chocolate & orange cupcakes, using a recipe from one of the contestants on the Great British Bake Off.

These have turned out well too. They took me longer than I thought they would and something went awry when I was melting the white chocolate for the icing, but they still taste yum.

The icing is delicious but very very sweet - and there is so much of it that it overpowers the little cakes a bit so I'd use a bit less next time.


And I need to get some kind of piping bag. I feel ready to move on from just scraping the icing onto my cakes with a knife...
