The Gallery - Education

Sadly I don't have any of my old school photos here or I would have posted one of them for this week's gallery. Instead, I present Freyja's summer school uniform.

Despite all that she is learning, what has excited Freyja the most of all in the two terms she has been going to school, was discovering that she gets to wear this pretty gingham dress in the nicer weather.

She looked in the mirror and sighed 'Oh Mummy, I look so beautiful'. I just love how little girls find themselves pretty - I wish it would last her whole life.

Awww! She does look beautiful. My little one is the same age- and she cannot wait to put on her gingham dress.

That's amazing! Do I spy a matching hair bobble? I'd wear that get up....

Lola checked herself out in the mirror the other day and said 'Oh my word, I look fantastic'. And she's trying to steal the Mulberry keyring you bought me, saying 'it's so pretty Mummy, can I have it please?' xxxxxx

Sweet - I remember the excitement when it finally got warm enough for me to wear my blue gingham dress. Happy Days!

By the way, I think Katie (above) might be married to my cousin. Very small world! x

My girls summer uniforms got their first outing on Friday. They are so much prettier that regular uniform.
