Sandpit
In between shitting and vomiting all over the place this bank holiday weekend, Theo did find time to enjoy the new sandpit which we bought him (at last) for his birthday.

We haven't actually managed to get any sand for it yet, but I can already tell that this is going to be one of the best things we have bought. Hours of entertainment for both Freyja and Theo.

He is still not too well though and today has been mostly slumped over either me or Adrian. Poor chap.

Believe me you are better off without the sand! LOL!
We have an ELC sand and water playtable which is great but as soon as you have water and sand mixed up all the sand toys (same as in your sandpit) don't work any more. So we ended up with some horrible mud mess to which Yannick also added little stones, twigs, leaves, you name it. And of course it's not so easy to dry and clean sand with a good amount of water in it... I think I'll have to throw it all out and start afresh.
yep, sand gets everywhere - they should sell sandpits with a dustbuster to get it off your floors and upholstery after the kids come in from the garden :(
I need to get new lot of sand for ours too - I keep forgetting to pull the tarp over it in the evening and its a bit showery atm.
Maybe I'll stick to filling it with water...
Mind you, Theo spends his time in the garden digging in my flower pots, eating soil and putting stones in his mouth so I think I'd rather he just created a mess with sand.
