Tummies, travels and teeth

At 2.30am on Thursday I was throwing up in the bathroom and cursing the bad timing of it all. Fortunately, I didn't get too ill and was able to do the drive to my sister's later that day and the drive to Heathrow on Friday. Freyja so far has escaped the bug (though we're not out of the woods yet - my mum came down with it yesterday and Theo's poor bum has only just returned to normal).

Travelling with two kids is not easy, especially when you throw a drive to the airport into the mix, and you're not too keen on driving at the best of times - nevermind when it's on the M25, in the dark, in rush hour. Theo was a total pain from the moment we left the house but both kids did sleep on the flight - even if I didn't (no change there then).

We arrived on Saturday morning to lovely sunshine and warm weather. Freyja went straight into the pool. And Theo showed off his shiny new tooth which I discovered had just emerged - his first one, top right hand side.

The second one is on it's way but still hasn't broken through and my lovely, easy baby has been irritable, grumpy and generally difficult since we got here. And he's still not sleeping at night.

But, I'm on holiday!
