So much for determination...
...we tried Theo back with me last night. At 1am he woke up and ended up screaming for 45 minutes (despite being tucked up between me and Adrian) before I gave up and fed him. I am now resigned to the fact that this will not be resolved until I stop breastfeeding.

can he manage a bottle on his own yet?
what I did with Sam is give him a bottle in his cot when he woke up in the middle of the night.
It only took me 2 mins tops to get the bottle out of the fridge, warmed up and stuck in his mouth and then I was back in bed and asleep within 5 mins.
It isnt a long-term solution by any means, but it would tide you over. Sounds like you're having a torrid time of it atm :(
He flatly refuses a bottle at night...I think it's the comfort he wants when I'm around.
