First Names
Freyja has recently taken to calling me 'Solveig' from time to time. She does it with a cheeky look in my direction, as if she has found something out that she's not sure she is supposed to know about.I was a little surprised at first but now I just tell her that Solveig is my name but that she can call me 'Mummy', and she is the only person (for now...) who is allowed to call me that. She just looks at me and repeats 'Solveig'....

Jacob does that to me and Doug sometimes (no, he doesn't call us Solveig!). He's just been having a phase where he's really interested in what people's names are - ie Granny's first name, Daddy's middle name etc. I think he's just sorting out everyone's place in the world.
The tricky thing is when he asks me what Sportacus's middle and last names are. We've decided he's Sportacus Jeremy Picture :-)
BTW, re: not getting a double buggy, if you can get away with not having one then you should. In London, they're a massive pain - you actually can't get them on the bus. I can get our double buggy on the bus up here, but only because the route starts just down the road and there's no prams on it when we get on. Not that we go on the bus anymore - you need to pass your test, it makes life much sooo much easier.
I was laughing at Julian yesterday - he's got so much on his plate atm that he's forgotten to buy a pram for the twinnies!
I hadn't even considered getting a double buggy until Adrian told me you were selling yours, and then I could think of loads of times it would be useful to have one!
But, I ended up with Freyja in a sling for about the first 3 months so we'll just see how we go. If it proves impossible we'll have to have a re-think but if I can avoid getting another pushchair, I will - we have 2 already!
