...Neither does my Toddler
After about 3 weeks of brilliant sleeping through behaviour (most of the time) she's back to waking up and this time we've had a few nights where she's been difficult to get back down as well. Sometimes she doesn't really seem to be properly awake but is crying out and I have settle her back down. Other times she wants her books - at 2.30am.
God, I'm tired.

Poor you - just when you need your sleep :(
Sam doesn't sleep through, which is my fault - I just haven't been brave enough to tackle the problem. With him in the same room as Jacob, it has just seemed easier to give him milk to get him back to sleep as that only disturbs me for 3 mins max.
Anyway, he's going into Jacob's old cot bed this weekend, with Jacob having a new bed. The plan is that if he doesn't sleep through in the bigger bed, then we're putting the old cot into the spare room and making him do cold turkey.
He's still grunting too, but at least he is saying "mama" now. But nothing else!
Have you taken the sides off the cot bed that Sam is going into? I wasn't planning on doing that for ages yet....maybe I need to start thinking about it?
Hurrah that he's saying 'mama'!!!
no, we're not planning to take the sides of yet. IIRC, we did that for Jacob at around 2 1/2 - once we had no fears about him going down the stairs on his own.
Oh good! I was thinking of leaving it at least until she's....oh, maybe 6???
No, probably about 2 1/2 or 3 as well. She does seem to love being in her cot so I'm not going to rock the boat just yet!
