Holiday
Freyja and I have just come back from a week in sunny Dubai. I lounged around outside in shorts and a vest until 10pm while Freyja ran around naked all day long and well into the evening - in October! Wonderful. I do like a nice warm climate.
Freyja is now suffering jet lag. She has woken at 2.30am (which is 6.30am in Dubai) for the last 2 nights, wide awake and full of beans. The first time, on Sunday, I failed to realise that I hadn't changed my clock back to UK time and it was only when it got to 8am and was still pitch black that I realised it was actually 4am. Whoops.
She has also had an absolute explosion of words over the last few weeks. And she's really got everyones names, including her own, all of a sudden. I will treasure the memory of her dashing around the garden with her 2 cousins, shouting 'Harry! Max!'
